Our Programs
All programs currently run in 10-week blocks, are individualized to athletes’ capability and sporting discipline, and are developed on the back of most current research and best practice. Pre- and post-training block testing is also included in all programs.
Athletic Preparation and Performance
Our Athletic Preparation and Performance program is aimed at ‘open-age’ athletes (over 18 years of age), who have participated in high-level sport for a continued period. In this program, these athletes will continue to build their robustness and athleticism, with particular focus on maximizing strength, power, and endurance capacities. Throughout the program, athletes will also continue improving their mobility, developing competencies in a range of movements and targeted injury prevention practices.
Youth Athletic Development
The Youth Athletic Development program is designed for high school-aged athletes (12-17 years old) who currently participate in any level of sport. It focuses on the fundamental areas of athletic development that promote athleticism and preparedness for sport, as well as reducing the risk of injury. This program would suit any high school-aged athletes looking to build strength, improve their fitness, reduce injury risk, and develop their overall physical literacy.

About Us
Velocity Sports Performance is passionate about athletic development. We offer programs for athletes and sportspeople of all ages, abilities and sporting disciplines who have a goal to get better. Our evidence-based programs focus on building overall athleticism and physical preparedness for sport through increasing strength, improving fitness, and reducing injury risk. All programs are currently designed and implemented by Director and Head of Athletic Development, Michal Green.
Meet the Director
Director, Michal Green, currently oversees the design and implementation of all training blocks and individual sessions in our athletic development programs. Michal injects a ‘high performance’ approach into each and every session thanks to his experience and passion in all facets of athletic development.

- Australian Strength & Conditioning Accreditation
- Master’s degree in Sports Science (in progress)
